X-Fit
A trainer-led fitness class for ages 11-15 after school. Participants will work with an instructor to increase range of motion, strength and mobility. They will learn how to make their workouts fun and effective. They will enjoy use of the cardio equipment, circuit training room and fitness studios.
Parents are not required on premises during this class, but registration is needed prior to class participation.
Participants must check in and out at the front desk and are not allowed to "hang-out" in or around the facility before or after the class.
Youth Fitness Certification Program
for youth ages 10-16
The Youth Fitness Certification Program is mandatory for youth (ages 12-16) to be able to use the facilities. Please make an appointment at the front desk with a fitness trainer for the Youth Fitness Certification Program.
This Program will Teach Youth:
To use cardio equipment safely, How to incorporate resistance training into your workout, Flexibility, Balance and coordination, Fundamentals of health & fitness, How to improve “your game”, Proper use of weight equipment, Gym etiquette, Safe & effective exercises for your age grou.
Youth Fitness Policy
Youth and parent must meet with a fitness trainer for a designed workout program three times before becoming certified. Parent must be present to provide hands-on instruction and be in direct supervision (within 20’ of youth) during workout session.Youth must only perform the designed workout program. Any adjustments made to the program must be authorized by a fitness trainer.Please check in at front desk each time you come into workout so the receptionist can check-out your *wrist bands.Youth and parent must wear color-coded wrist bands to identify that they have completed the Youth Fitness Certification program each time they are working out together on the fitness floor. Please return wrist bands to the front desk at the conclusion of your workout. Abuse of privileges and rules will result in:
1st offense - written warning
2nd offense - 2 week restriction of club use
3rd offense - 3 month restriction of club useParticipation in group exercise classes is based upon instructor approval. (Individual classes may vary.)
Youth loitering will not be tolerated.
